Woodquay Hostel is situated in the heart of Galway. It is just a 5-minute walk to the city centre. The place is cleaned every day, and the kitchen is spacious and fully equipped for a self-cater. The best thing about the rooms is that there’s a plug beside every bed, making it so convenient to charge & use gadgets at the same time. 

When I stayed there, the staff gave me a tour around the hostel, and they also helped me to set up my luggage upstairs. They provide their standard breakfast, which is generally bread, butter, jam & Coffee, or Tea, and you can also cook something else for your own. 

In the morning, everyone used to come to the dining room, have fun, and get to know each other. They also arrange some fun activities like live music, walking tours, and movie nights. I booked a bed from booking.com, and it made my work easy, I did not face any issues regarding this at their registering desk. 

I had a fantastic time here and made some good friends. I would definitely suggest you check out this hostel.

Sleepzone Hostels are excellent with their hospitality. I never got a chance to spend a night here, but my friends used to live here, and I visited the place for several times. The hostel is spotless and organised and will offer you an excellent self-catering kitchen. Free tea and coffee are also available, and plenty of options are available for breakfast.

Galway Tour Company offers regular discounted tours to Connemara and the Cliffs of Moher, which depart from their front door.
