Though Inch Beach has been part of the movies and a top-rated destination when it comes to tourists, I would still like to call it a hidden gem. As it is truly a fantastic place and you can have a lovely time here with your friends and family.

You’ll have many water activities to try here, and the places have notice boards all over the beach regarding all the details about those activities. 

It is also known for fishing among the locals, and the local people are also amiable there to guide you with everything. If you want to have a relaxing evening, I think this is the best place to be in.

Buy Chocolates at the Skelligs Chocolate Factory

You can find a small chocolate factory near St. Finian’s Bay called the Skelligs Chocolate Factory. You can taste, buy, and even watch the chocolate being made there. 

Take some for your friend and some for yourself as a sweet memory of this wonderful trip that you will have.

The place is known for its local stories and the farming and fishing culture. It is a very small island, and all the locations here are pretty old, so you can get to explore the old times of Kerry. It was exactly like a journey back in time. I would recommend you to visit the place only if you have extra time in your hand.

Another interesting point about this island is the contribution of its writers in the literature. Some of the notable books by the Blasket Island writers include: “Twenty Years A-Growing” by Maurice O’Sullivan, “Peig” by Peig Sayers, and “The Islandman” by Tomas O’Crohan.
